About the Farm
Background
Redemption Hill Farms began as a homestead and evolved into a farmstead, providing food for the family and selling the excess to the community. Located in the Ozark Foothills, the farm has become known for its heritage breed livestock and commitment to sustainable agriculture. The farm's journey is deeply rooted in preserving traditions and fostering a connection with nature.
Practices
The farm employs sustainable agriculture practices, focusing on free-range and heritage breed livestock. Their flock of chickens is free-range, ensuring the birds have ample space to roam and forage. Dexter cows and St. Croix Dorper mix sheep are raised with care, and in the fall, the farm offers Broad Breasted White, Broad Breasted Bronze, and Narragansett turkeys. The emphasis is on maintaining healthy, happy animals that contribute to the farm's ecosystem.
The Rest
Visitors can purchase a variety of products directly from the farm, including fresh eggs, dairy cows, lambs, and handmade goat and sheep milk soap. The farm also hosts seasonal events, providing an opportunity for the community to engage with farm life and learn more about sustainable agriculture.
