About the Farm

Background

The journey began in the Pacific Northwest, where the family decided to move from the arid regions of Washington State to the Ozarks in search of a more sustainable farming environment. Despite facing droughts in their early years, they found a place with more reasonable land prices and the freedom to sell raw dairy products directly to consumers. The farm has since become a haven for those seeking clean, local food.

Practices

The farm follows a grass-based approach, ensuring that their Milking Shorthorn cows are milked in a dairy parlor with a closed system and strict cleanliness protocols, including monthly testing. The cows are primarily grass-fed, with small amounts of non-GMO grain given during milking and fresh sprouted feed provided at various times of the year. The beef is short-hung and grass-fed, with no use of grain, steroids, or hormones. Pastured, milk-fed non-GMO pork is available year-round, along with free-range eggs from pastured hens.

The Rest

Visitors are encouraged to visit the farm to pick up their food and even try their hand at milking a cow. The farm also offers delivery locations for convenience. The family is dedicated to helping people feed their families clean, delicious local food and aims to educate others on the benefits of real, nourishing meals. Additionally, they provide resources like a free guide on making bone broth to further support their customers' health journeys.
