Lions Gate Farm
About
Since 1993, the Shriner family has proudly offered Kona coffee direct from their 15-acre farm on the slopes of Mauna Loa volcano. The farm is home to heirloom trees over eighty years old, deeply rooted in rich soil, producing beans known for their exceptional quality. Over the years, they have expanded their offerings to include farm-grown macadamia nuts, chocolates, and mac nut oil.
The farm takes pride in being pesticide-free, ensuring that their coffee and macadamia nuts are naturally grown with the benefits of the Hawaiian climate. They hand-pick, process, and sun-dry their Kona coffee beans on-site, maintaining control over the entire process from tree to roast to guarantee the best quality. The macadamia nuts are also grown with care, harnessing the natural goodness provided by the Hawaiian sun.
Visitors to the Big Island are welcomed with complimentary farm tours where they can pick and crack their own macadamia nuts and sample a variety of other tropical fruits in season. The farm offers a range of products including flavored Kona coffee, macadamia nut oil, and various chocolate treats, all available for purchase online.
