About the Farm
Background
The farm has been in the family for four generations, beginning in 1910 when Oscar Sporri emigrated from Switzerland and purchased the land. Initially, produce, sausage, and wine were sold at the Farmer's Market in Portland. In 1987, Oscar's great-grandson Justy Papst began restoring the farm, which has since grown from a small operation with two sawhorses and a piece of plywood to a substantial business with a large store.
Practices
The farm employs natural and timeless farming practices that focus on nurturing the soil to grow delicious produce.
The Rest
Justy's Produce and Flowers operates from June through October, offering a wide array of products including vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy, nuts, seeds, honey, syrup, and flowers. The business is run by Justy Papst along with his mother Marie, his wife Marilee, and their two children Justin and Marielle.
