Hawkins Homestead Farm

Starting as a quest to feed their own family in a healthy manner, this small family-owned and operated farm has grown to provide clean, sustainable food for others. Certified by The National Poultry Improvement Plan (NPIP) and Certified Naturally Grown (CNG), they have committed to raising animals without antibiotics and growing produce from Non-GMO organic seeds and plants.

Chickens are free-ranged, foraging in the backyard pasture and supplemented with Non-GMO feed. Meat birds are raised with access to grass, open air, and sunshine, also fed Non-GMO organic feed. Heritage breed hogs are pastured on grass and provided with a soy-free Non-GMO diet, along with organic herbs, fruits, nuts, and vegetables from the garden. Composting scraps and chicken manure enriches the soil, allowing the growth of organic produce.

The farm takes pride in its commitment to animal health and food safety, ensuring all produce is fresh and chemical-free. They encourage supporting local farms that grow clean food.
