About

Background

Groundswell Greens is run by Tom Cary and Sarah Guerkink, focusing on providing fresh produce during the off-season months. They serve the communities of Grand Rapids, Holland, and Hudsonville with weekly drop-off locations from November to May.

Practices

As a certified organic farm, Groundswell Greens adheres to strict organic farming standards, ensuring that all produce is grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. Their focus on off-season farming allows them to provide fresh, locally-grown vegetables during a time when such produce is typically scarce.

Of note

Groundswell Greens offers both a CSA style subscription for $100 over 5 weeks and a la carte weekly orders. Available produce includes head lettuce, seven different salad greens, radishes, carrots, cilantro, garlic, kale, and chard. Pickup times and locations are available in Holland, Grand Rapids, and on the farm itself.
