Farmer Joe's Gardens LLC

Drawing on four generations of farming mentorship from his family and three generations from her family, Farmer Joe and his wife, Ida, pride themselves in the beautiful plants and produce grown by the family and sold at their farm store. The farm has received accolades such as National Outstanding Young Farmer of the Year and CT Outstanding Young Farmer.

The farm employs experienced farming methods that prioritize good and safe practices, keeping the environment in harmony while producing healthy, delicious, nutrient-dense, and diverse plants and produce. Through education, communication, and responsible growing practices, they help folks connect with their roots.

The farm offers programs like 'Rent The Chicken' and 'Hatch the Chicken' throughout Connecticut and the surrounding areas. They also run a CSA program that connects members with their farmer, providing a weekly basket of fresh produce. The farm is a hub for plants, food, and farm animal encounters, and they publish a weekly newsletter full of family stories, gardening tips, and recipes.
