About the Farm
Background
In operation since 1955, this family farm has a long-standing tradition of growing a variety of fruits and vegetables, including heirloom varieties, and raising grass-fed Angus beef. The farm's market is housed in the front portion of an old building that was historically used for packing and shipping peaches.
Practices
The farm raises grass-fed Angus beef without the use of hormones or antibiotics, allowing cows to graze entirely on grass. The beef is processed in a certified USDA-inspected facility. The farm also offers pastured pork and chicken, lamb, bison, and pastured eggs, emphasizing a commitment to natural and humane animal husbandry. Additionally, the farm grows a variety of fruits and vegetables, including heirloom varieties, using sustainable farming practices.
The Rest
The farm's market is open year-round from Monday through Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm, offering not only the farm's produce and beef but also a selection of local and organic products, including raw honey, raw Jersey milk, and many organic and gluten-free items from other local farms.
