About the Farm
Background
Back Home Farm began farming in 2011, cultivating approximately 25 varieties of vegetables, including heirloom and open pollinated cultivars.
Practices
Stewardship of the soil and the farm's natural resources is a top priority, ensuring sustainable farming practices that benefit both the land and the community.
The Rest
The farm offers a CSA program serving Sylacauga, Birmingham, north Atlanta, and potentially other locations. Fresh eggs, shiitake and oyster mushrooms, and plans for grass-fed goat, sheep, and cattle are also part of their offerings. They are dedicated to providing fresh, locally grown produce at competitive prices and regularly donate produce to local food shelters and ministries in Coosa, Talladega, and Tallapoosa Counties.
