About the Farm
Background
In 1945, about ten years after emigrating from Italy, Luigi Bacchini began farming in Knightsen. While Luigi started the business, it was his son, Tino Bacchini, that really made the farm business what it is today. Tino and his wife Josie were one of the first farms in Brentwood to offer U-Pick, something that is ever-present in the area now. Currently, the farm sits on 14 acres and is operated by its third and fourth-generation family members.
Practices
Seasonal fruit growers depending on each season, focusing on providing fresh, high-quality produce directly from their orchard.
The Rest
The farm offers a variety of fruits including white peaches, sweet cherries, white Rainier cherries, sour cherries, olallieberries, pluots, white nectarines, apricots, loquats, walnuts, and raw honey. Visitors can enjoy the U-pick experience during May and June, with entry tickets available for reservation to guarantee entry. The farm is a true family operation, with many family members involved in the running of the business.
